Law Course Content
This qualification should be pursued alongside two other A Level subjects. The A Level Law course is a full-time, two-year program designed for students aged 16 and older. It is suitable for those with no prior knowledge of the subject.
Law involves critical thinking, writing, debating, and comprehensive learning. Throughout the course, you will develop a strong understanding of language, enhance your writing skills, and learn how to construct and defend arguments both on paper and in class regarding the application of legal principles to specific situations. You can apply for this A Level now, and our admissions team will discuss your additional 2-3 subject choices with you later; there's no need to select all your A Levels at this time.
The course will allow you to explore the differences between various types of criminal offenses, understand how laws are created, learn about the structure of the legal system, and delve into the theory behind tort law. As part of your study program, all students are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of work experience in both the first and second years. This requirement will help you develop the personal qualities and skills needed for both university and future employment.
