We strive to enable young people to maximise their potential during their time with us at PA High Sixth Form. Our whole school values of ‘Service, Integrity and Excellence’ aim to develop polite, well-rounded and resilient young people who, through hard work and determination, make excellent progress.

We believe that academic success is crucial in enabling young people to go on and access further education or employment at the end of Year 13. That is why we place a strong emphasis on excellent teaching and learning for all sixth form learners, which is supported by a robust study programme. All students have regular timetabled study periods to enable them to consolidate and develop their learning.

We know that being future-ready is about more than just academic success however, we have a strong commitment to providing young people with the opportunity to develop themselves as people. We have a strong student programme and enrichment programme, which both equip students with practical and soft skills to enable them to transition to adulthood. In particular, we will focus on creative thinking, problem solving, financial management and building resilience. This is further enhanced by regular careers events and visits to universities.
