The Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT) is a multi-academy trust (MAT) of primary schools in Birmingham that was established in September 2015. The trust is fully inclusive and currently consists of over 2,000 children across three schools. Prince Albert Primary is the lead school and was graded ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted in February 2015. Heathfield Primary initially joined Prince Albert in the form of a federation in February 2014 when it was identified by the Local Authority as being ‘vulnerable’. Highfield Junior & Infant School was placed in ‘special measures’ by Ofsted in September 2014, was supported by Prince Albert from September 2015 and joined the PACT as a sponsored academy on 1st April 2016.

All of the schools in the PACT currently have high numbers of pupils eligible for free school meals (FSM), very high numbers of pupils who speak English as an additional language (EAL) and above average numbers of pupils with special educational needs (SEN). Heathfield School has undergone significant and sustained school improvement over the last 3 years with outcomes for all pupils improving year on year. Highfield is no longer a failing school and is improving rapidly.

At PACT we are very excited about PAHS as we strongly believe that we can continue the excellent work of our primary schools in to the secondary phase.
